If you look up free spirit in the dictionary,  I’m certain you’ll find a photo of Anna smiling back at you.   I’ve known Anna (and her family – who is near & dear to our hearts) since she was 9 or 10 years old, and now she is a senior, getting ready to go out and conquer the world. 

Nothing about Anna is ordinary – she is all sorts of things:  artsy;  a sister to 7 other siblings;  an athlete; a member of her homecoming queen court this year; a flower child; really, really funny.   But what’s really striking is Anna’s heart.  She’s loving and giving, someone who’s  devoted many a summer vacation serving others.  She has donated her gorgeous hair to Locks of Love through the years…and she travels to other places to serve others in the name of Jesus Christ.

She’s such an amazing, refreshing breath of fresh air and I love her to pieces.  Look out, world – here comes our beautiful Anna.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I have to start by saying this lovely 2011 senior girl is part of my family!   Her name is Amber, and she’s the daughter of my gorgeous cousin, Julie.  I remember when Amber was a little toddler, sitting in my kitchen, pulling out pots and pans and banging on them, while her mom and I chatted a few feet away.   I honestly cannot believe how fast time has flown, and here she is, a beautiful, bright, and very funny young woman!

We literally chased daylight – it was a grey afternoon with dark rain clouds following us everywhere we went.  But I really haven’t had that much fun in a long time…Amber, you were a doll.  Thanks for being such a good sport in front of the train, too - ha!   And thank you to Julie and Sherry for being such great assistants.  Love you guys!
