those summer nights | Columbus Ga photographer

A warm summer night, breeze blowing across the water, just enough to keep us from getting too hot, magic light through the trees…. and a sweet little girl with “golden hair”. =)  Thank you Kara and James, I really enjoyed meeting you and spending time with you and your girls!

Bess - ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!

Holly - So precious! Amazing talent and beauty! :)

beach boy | Columbus Ga child photography

This cute little whippersnapper is the son of my cousins. We had a delightful evening at the beach a few nights ago, and boy did he deliver the cuteness. The dimples, the mess of blond curls….they kill me. It’s just too much. Love him to pieces!

I love it at the beach, when that last little bit of gold disappears from the sunset sky…then the light turns to those delicious blues and pinks.   Perfect and soft for sweet little faces.

Bess - Ok….I’m A LITTLE biased…but these are by far my FAVORITE pics of all!!!!! Of Course, he’s my son…so….I’m just saying!

Darlene Cash - Love them….you are really talented! Noah IS very cute…but I could never get him to sit still for a picture….so you get A LOT of credit! Wish you were closer….I’d love to have some pictures taken…Great job!

Hillary - He’s a cutie!

Diana Raber - Beautiful pictures of the most handsome grandson anyone could ever hope to have!

Heather - These are absolutely adorable!! One of my favorite sessions you have done!! I love the beach!!

admin - Thank you, girls! he’s the cutest little squirt!

isn’t she lovely | Columbus GA teen photography

As my sweet Grandma used to say,  “Oh.  My.  Stars.”    Somehow gorgeous just doesn’t seem to do this young woman justice…seriously!

As promised, here’s a little peek into more of our session.   We had fun running, twirling, and as the evening wore on, a beautiful sunset began to cast a hazy, golden glow over everything.   A perfect way to end the day.   =)

p.s. The beautiful quilt was handmade by my sweet friend, Susie Helton!

Angela Weinle - Isn’t she lovely! YES SHE IS ! I MISS MY adopted daughter! she looks wonderful, brought tears to my eyes! great job!

Shawntel - What BEAUTIFUL Princess!!! Magnificent job Trudy!!!

Angel + Jeff | Columbus Georgia Photographer

“Happiness?  The color of it must be spring green.”   Frances Mayes

Angel and Jeff were recently married on a beautiful spring day, filled with love, happiness and cheerful doses of yellow and green everywhere.  (green happens to be my favorite color, so I was in heaven.)   =)

This sweet couple had such a lovely day;  they thought of everything.   Every little detail was beautiful and meaningful, right down to the banner that hung in the reception hall that read,  “Angel & Jeff:   History in the Making”.  What a hope-filled and beautiful way to start their life together  - I just adored that.   The bridesmaids, which included Angel’s daughter, Briana, got to pick the shoes they would wear – and they chose yellow converse tennis shoes.  I love that they showed their young, fun selves!

Angel and Jeff,  I was so honored to be able to spend the day with you and have a part in capturing your story.  It was absolutely beautiful and we had a wonderful time with you and your family.   Congratulations!

Carol - Great storyboard, Trudy Lou! I love it! The images are so fresh and fun! Looks like a relaxed, but simply elegant wedding!

Christine Farka - So beautiful Trudy! Love the storyboard too, tells a beautiful story. I loved the colors too! Yellow and green are my favorites!

Bess - LOVE THEM!!!!!!! I love that the bride picked such vibrant colors…I think one of my fav shots is the one with all yellow shoes! And the one with the bride with her umbrella. :)

Jenifer - Beautiful job Trudy!!

admin - Thank you, girls! The colors were amazing & she was/is such a gorgeous bride :)

Ever After – Columbus Georgia Senior Photography

Seriously –this young girl has such a classic beauty.  She reminds me of someone you might have seen in a Leonardo da Vinci sketchbook.  Have you ever seen the movie Ever After?  She could totally play the part of Danielle, the princess.  Apparently, several random admirers thought the same thing during our session.  =)

Holly - Wow! What a natural BEAUT! Your talent shines, once again! :)

Cake Smash! Columbus Georgia Child Photographer

The smiley-est baby ever got to dig into a cake that was just for him – his big 1st birthday!   As much as I love cake, though, I say forget the cake — I’m much more interested in nibbling him up!

Jen Sexton - Adorable photos! Are you shooting in a studio now?

admin - thanks, Jen! no, just white seamless =)

Holly - Talking bout cutiepies! He takes the cake! Your love for children really shines in your remarkable work! :)

Bess - Ok…I may have to quit looking at your pics for fear I will explode from seeing too much cuteness!!!!!!!!!!!
