Elizabeth – Part Deux | Columbus Ga Senior Photography

Ok, as promised, here is part two of the beautiful Elizabeth’s senior session!   If you missed part one, which we did in the courtyard of a quaint, little Italian café, you can see it here.   The color palette she picked was soft, gorgeous, and was slightly vintage – with awesome sparkly silver shoes. (:   And I  *love* her freckles.  Love.

Then we moved on to the rest of her session – to an old, rusty, abandoned factory.   It was amazing.  Elizabeth, you’re beautiful and I love ya!  Congratulations on your graduation!

Bess Freeman - Beautiful!!!!!!!!

Holly Jo Nails - Phenomenal talent! Beautiful in every way! :)

Miss Elizabeth | Columbus Ga Senior Photography

I’ve had quite the time this spring photographing senior girls. It’s been so much fun. This beautiful, sweet girl is Elizabeth, daughter of my very good friend, Susie. I had the pleasure of photographing her older sister when she was a senior, and so was honored that they asked me again, this time to do Elizabeth’s.  Beauty definitely runs in the family!   This is part 1 of Elizabeth’s session because it was just too hard to narrow it down – her fashion sense blew me away!  Plus, we had this adorable little Italian café as our location, which we loved.   Thanks so much, Elizabeth and Susie – it was awesome.

Indian Summer | Columbus Georgia Child Photographer

These picturess were taken when our family was all together at the tail-end of the indian summer we had in the South this year. The air was still warm and the humidity was long gone, which is perfect outdoor weather, in my book. When I look at these, I instantly think back to when I was little —to long, carefree Saturdays when we used to hang on to every last little bit of sunlight before my dad would come to the back door and summon us inside to take our baths. (which we avoided as long as humanly possible, of course.)

Hope you are having a wonderful February so far — not long until ’til everything is green and the days are long once again. :)

Holly Jo - Awe, my heart has a very special place for little boys! So cute! Great captures! :)

Happy 2013! | Columbus Georgia Photographer

Hi, friends!   I hope your 2013 has been a great one so far!  Lots of new and good things around the bend for Mulberry Lane this year.  But first, I’m super excited to announce that I am now sharing a studio space with my friend, Holly, an amazing Columbus newborn photographer.  (check out her work here!)

Since winter weather in the South can be very rainy/cold/dreary, I’m so happy to be able to offer a studio alternative for kids. (:   Take a look below at the bright and cheery studio space - just love it.   If you would like to book a studio session for your child, please make sure to do it soon, as studio sessions are limited.   Use the Contact Us link (upper left) for more information or to book your session!

Holly Jo Nails - Awe, what a little ray of sunshine; so beautiful! Your talent is so awesome; in or out! :)

Wendi Parker - We had so much fun Trudy !! Thanks for having us. Photos turned out great. Our little girl is growing up!!! Precious memories made. Thank you.

Blustery Day | Columbus Georgia Photographer

Things have been really busy during this holiday season…not a lot of time to blog.  But after the holidays, I plan to sit down with a nice, big mug of hazelnut coffee and blog a bunch of sessions to my little heart’s content. (:

In the meantime, here’s a little fun from a recent blustery day.  See you soon, friends.  Love and joy unto you this season of our Savior’s birth.

(p.s. check out MLP’s facebook page  in the meantime for peeks into some recent sessions!)

Holly Jo - Those beautiful eyes say it all! Can I just say, “LOVE”! May your amazing talent keep on shining! :)

Wendi C - Beautiful!! You know the most beautiful people. Keep up the good work. Can’t wait to see more sessions. W

Columbus GA Photographer | goodbye summer…

I got to photograph this sweet girl this summer, for the third year, and she was such a delight.   When I pulled this pictures up on my computer, I could see how she is growing up so much.  She is in the “in-between” – still playing with her sweet dolls and not quite a teen.  It definitely makes me wish I could just freeze time…  :)

Here are just a few from that session – we spent time inside with some beautiful window light, then moved outside, into the hazy summer.  Thanks so much, Susan – I enjoyed it a bunch, as always!

Holly Jo Nails - She is truly a little princess! Love your work! :)
